Hmmmm..... Looking at the latter page, I find a link "Daily snapshots of the Python source tree", which points at http://cvs.perl.org/snapshots/python/ Should we keep both links active?

Does anybody know how the cvs.perl.org snapshot is generated?

In any case, Matthias asked me to produce a tarball of the 2.2 branch as well, and I'll add one for the 2.3 branch when that is created, too, so I'm ready to continue the service for some time (until local disk space limitations force me to shut it down).

I'll add a number of links to the web page when I'm done.
