If it's not too much trouble. It's unlikely I'll be able to contribute anything useful though.

Since I think I have isolated the Cygwin Python problem, I would prefer to hold off on the above. My intention is to enhance rebaseall (and in turn rebase) so that rebasing additionally DLLs is easy.
