Does there exist a set of interpreter performance regressions tests? For example, I've modified the interpreter to allow the profiling of C extension functions, and want to make sure that the performance impact on non-profiled applications is negligible. Does a test suite for this already exist (basically, something that calls a very lightweight C extension functions a few hundred thousand times)?
Pystone is the main thing. There's now also ParrotBench.
