the number actually comes from multiplication between 237.50 and 4.762 which will get 1130.975.

The actual fp product of those two numbers is strictly less than 1130.975. You shouldn't have any such problem with FixedPoint if you're using it correctly, but python-dev isn't the right place for this (so if you want more on this, please use the newsgroup comp.lang.python).
