I can't understand why he could expect that patch submissions could be anonymous. We are moving towards more bureaucracy here, not less: we should really require that the contributor form is filled out for submissions (both code and documentation): on documentation, there is also copyright, and formally, the contributor needs to declare under what license we can use the text that he wrote.

Now, there is always the issue with "trivial" modifications (like typos); we haven't been able to clarify yet what the bar for "this has copyright" really is, that's why I haven't been pushing for executing a "require forms signed" policy, yet.

For bug reports, this issue does not exist - but the other issues (of being able to get feedback) do, of course.
