Would anyone mind terribly if I backported a version of: http://bugs.python.org/issue4501 to 2.4 and 2.5?
It fixes some strange duplicate data issues on poll() with packets with a nonstandard flag set.

Do you really mean 2.5.1? Oops, no - although the statement is technically correct; since 2.5.2, only 80 bugs have been added :-) Thanks for pointing that out. Martin
