Let's not judge which features are perks or essential quite yet. (If the number of features/scenarios/whatnot becomes a burden on you, then you must triage them, of course.)

But a lot of people will not know what the features are unless they go in the PEP. Eg, I've never actually encountered the merge-across-rename issue in the wild, for example. A scenario where I could actually try it for myself would be educational, as many people I respect swear by it.
