The inability to authenticate using one of my OpenIDs is a major factor keeping me from bothering to submit bug reports and edit wiki pages.
I've also had fruitless discussions about adding OpenID authentication to Roundup.
Gmane allows me to use NNTP without requiring authentication to participate in the discussion forums.
