Actually, most Firefox developers are mac based.

Mozilla isn't a great example of windows integration, they install half-a-unix-system in order to just build under windows, including msys, python 2.5, mercurial, and xemacs. See: <https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Windows_Build_Prerequisites>
