As pointed out by Antoine, Georg, Michael and I, the PEP 370 directory for user site-packages is not the right place to put config files.
PS: Then we can start putting the libraries themselves in the database. That works really well.
I don’t know you well enough to tell if this is the final hint that you were sarcastic.
