pkgmanager ? No underscores, please. :) Actually, a decent wrapper script could just be called 'setup'. My command-not-found on Ubuntu doesn't find a collision, or even close similarities.

No generic name, please. easy_install was bad enough, no need to repeat that mistake. "egg" would be better, but weren't we phasing out the egg format?
