+1 from me. Over time I've suggested to at least two people, maybe more, who wanted to see some action on these that the way to make progress on it was to break everything down into the to smallest independent patches possible. So far no one has followed through on it, obviously.
[And no, I'm not interested in the port myself, either :)]
