How about the "Restart Shell" command in the Shell menu, though? Does that do the same thing for you? It should also be accessible through the "Control-F6" keystroke.
Yes! Thanks! There it is right on the Shell menu on IDLE's menu bar.
But I also learned a lot from Steve's help.
