John Sefick's images of Messier objects
John Sefickhas obtained his images with a 25-inch Newtonian reflector and a ST-6 CCD camera. The location was a cabin near the Chequamegon National Forest in Northern Wisconsin. The telescope was mounted on an equatorial platform produced by Equatorial Platforms of Nevada City Californiai -see their image collection by different astrophotographers. The ST-6 camera has a Santa Barbara Instruments color wheel attached to the front of the camera.
