Earth-bound Astrophotos of Paul Scowen (original) (raw)
Besides a considerable number of the best Hubble Space Telescope images, Paul Scowen has obtained some very beautiful images of Messier objects with ground-based telescopes (in particular the 60-inch Palomar telescope):
* M1:Palomar image of M1, the Crab Nebula
* M16:Palomar image of M16, open cluster associated with the Eagle Nebula
