More M20 and M21 (original) (raw)
The Trifid Nebula M20, a diffuse reflection nebula, and nearby open star cluster M21, as photographed by Matt BenDaniel from Pearce, Arizona on May 21, 2001, using an autoguided Astro Physics 130 EDF refractor. It is a 90-minutes exposure on hypered Kodak PPF 400 film, and was cropped from alarger image of the whole region including M8, M20 and M21.
