Al Munther []
The Al Munther 3U CubeSat is Bahrain's first domestically designed and developed satellite. The project was spearheaded by the National Space Science Agency (NSSA) and involved a team of young Bahraini engineers, showcasing the country's commitment to advancing its space technology capabilities.
The satellite is equipped with an Earth observation camera to capture images of Bahrain and its territorial waters and features an onboard AI system capable of real-time image analysis, enhancing data processing efficiency. Also it incorporates advanced encryption algorithms to ensure the security of space data. Aditionally it will broadcast Bahrain's national anthem and a message from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from space.
