KOYOH [JAXA]
KOYOH is a small satellite developed by the Kanazawa University that integrates science and engineering and X-ray observation of gravitational wave celestial bodies
Equipped with a wide-field X-ray imaging detector, the satellite will enable X-ray imaging observations of suddenly appearing events such as gamma-ray bursts accompanied by gravitational waves to identify the time and direction of occurrence, and the information is sent to the ground in near real time, both domestically and internationally to notify space observatories for follow up observations.
