OPTOS [INTA]
OPTOS is a low-cost 3 Unit CubeSat project of INTA (Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aerospacial). The objective is to demonstrate new technologies in spacecraft development such as:
- a distributed OBDH (On-Board Data Handling) subsystem based on FPGAs (Floating Point Gate Arrays), and
- CPLDs (Complex Programmable Logic Devices),
- an optical wireless communication system (OBCom) with a reduced CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol,
- the internal structure is based on composite materials
