Douglas Walter Campbell was born on 6 March 1877.2 He was the son of Lord Walter Campbell and Olivia Rowlandson Milns.1 He married, firstly, Aimeé Marie Suzanne Lawrence, daughter of John Riker Lawrence and Margaretta Quick, on 28 November 1899.2 He married, secondly, Lilian Elizabeth Lutley Sclater, daughter of Philip Lutley Sclater and Jane Anne Eliza Hunter Blair, on 17 June 1920.2 He died on 5 January 1926 at age 48, from an illness contracted during World War One.1
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of officer in the 30th Lancers, IEF.2

Niall Diarmid Campbell, 10th Duke of Argyll was born on 16 February 1872.1 He was the son of Lord Archibald Campbell and Janey Sevilla Callander.1 He died on 20 August 1949 at age 77, unmarried.1

Louise Hollingsworth Morris Clews1

Louise Hollingsworth Morris Clews was the daughter of Henry Clews.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Andrew Nicholas Armstrong Vanneck, son of Hon. William Arcedeckne Vanneck and Mary Armstrong, on 1 September 1930.1 She and Hon. Andrew Nicholas Armstrong Vanneck were divorced in 1933.2 She married, secondly, Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll, son of Douglas Walter Campbell and Aimeé Marie Suzanne Lawrence, on 23 November 1935.1 She and Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll were divorced in 1951.1 She died on 10 February 1970.3
From 1 September 1930, her married name became Vanneck.4 Her married name became Campbell. After her marriage, Louise Hollingsworth Morris Clews was styled as Duchess of Argyll on 20 August 1949.

Lady Jeanne Louise Campbell was born on 10 December 1928.1 She was the daughter of Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll and Hon. Janet Gladys Aitken.1 She married, firstly, Norman Kingsley Mailer, son of Isaac Barnett Mailer and Fanny Schneider, in 1962.1 She and Norman Kingsley Mailer were divorced in 1963.1 She married, secondly, John Sergeant Cram, son of Henry Sergeant Cram, in March 1964.1 She died on 4 June 2007 at age 78.
She was a journalist for The Evening Standard at New York City, New York, U.S.A.G.2 From 1962, her married name became Mailer. From March 1964, her married name became Cram.

She married, secondly, Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll, son of Douglas Walter Campbell and Aimeé Marie Suzanne Lawrence, on 15 June 1963.1 She died on 6 June 1997 at age 71 at American Hospital, Paris, FranceG.3
Her married name became Heller. After her marriage, Mathilda Coster Mortimer was styled as Duchess of Argyll on 15 June 1963. From 15 June 1963, her married name became Campbell.
