Gustaf IV, King of Sweden, and his wife Friederike 2

Friederike Dorothea Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Baden was born on 12 March 1781 at Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Karl Ludwig Markgraf von Baden and Amalie Friederike Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt.3 She married Gustaf IV Adolf von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden, son of Gustav III von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden and Sophie Magdalene Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 31 October 1797 at Stockholm, SwedenG.1 She and Gustaf IV Adolf von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden were divorced on 17 February 1812.1 She died on 25 September 1826 at age 45 at Lausanne, SwitzerlandG.1
