Isabel le Despenser1

Isabel le Despenser was born posthumously on 26 July 1400 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, WalesG.1 She was also reported to have been born on 26 July 1400 at Elmley, Worcestershire, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Thomas le Despenser, 1st and last Earl of Gloucester and Constance Langley.3 She married, firstly, Richard Beauchamp, 1st Earl of Worcester, son of William Beauchamp, 1st Lord Bergavenny and Lady Joan FitzAlan, on 27 July 1411 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 She married, secondly, Richard de Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick, son of Thomas de Beauchamp, 12th Earl of Warwick and Margaret Ferrers, on 26 November 1423 at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, EnglandG, by Papal dispensation.4 She died on 27 December 1439 at age 39 at Friars Minoress, London, EnglandG.4 She was buried on 13 January 1439/40 at Tewkesbury Abbey, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.4 Her will was proven (by probate) on 4 February 1439/40.5
From 27 July 1411, her married name became Beauchamp.4 She succeeded as the 5th Baroness Burghersh [E., 1330] on 7 October 1414, suo jure.5 Her last will was dated 1 December 1439. In June 1441 at Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, an inquest was held.4

Richard Beauchamp, 1st Earl of Worcester1

Richard Beauchamp, 1st Earl of Worcester was born before 1397.2 He was the son of William Beauchamp, 1st Lord Bergavenny and Lady Joan FitzAlan.2 He married Isabel le Despenser, daughter of Thomas le Despenser, 1st and last Earl of Gloucester and Constance Langley, on 27 July 1411 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He died on 18 March 1421/22 at Meaux, FranceG, mortally wounded in action, without male issue.2,3 He was buried on 25 April 1422 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Bergavenny [E., 1392] on 8 May 1411.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 8 April 1413.2 He held the office of Joint Warden of the Welsh Marches in 1415.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1418 in the Lancers and Archers in Normandy.2 He was created 1st Earl of Worcester [England] in February 1420/21.3 He fought in the Siege of Meaux in March 1421/22.2
The Earldom of Worcester appears to have reverted to the Crown on his death.3

William Bourchier, Viscount Bourchier was the son of Henry Bourchier, 1st Earl of Essex and Isabella Plantagenet.1 He married, firstly, Isobel de Vere, daughter of John de Vere, 12th Earl of Oxford.2 He married, secondly, Lady Anne Woodville, daughter of Richard Wydevill, 1st Earl Rivers and Jacquetta de Luxembourg, before 15 August 1467.1,3 He died before 26 June 1480.2
He was styled as Viscount Bourchier.1 He fought in the Battle of Barnet on 14 April 1471, fighting on the Yorkist side.3

Lady Anne Woodville was born circa 1438.1 She was the daughter of Richard Wydevill, 1st Earl Rivers and Jacquetta de Luxembourg.1 She married, firstly, William Bourchier, Viscount Bourchier, son of Henry Bourchier, 1st Earl of Essex and Isabella Plantagenet, before 15 August 1467.1,2 She married, secondly, George Grey, 2nd Earl of Kent, son of Edmund Grey, 1st Earl of Kent and Lady Catherine Percy, after 1483.2 She died on 30 July 1489.2
From before 15 August 1467, her married name became Bourchier.1,2 From after 1483, her married name became Grey.3
