Lady Mary Bruce1

Lady Mary Bruce was the daughter of Robert le Brus, 1st Lord Brus and Margaret, Countess of Carrick.1 She married, firstly, Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow, son of Sir Colin Campbell of Lochow, circa 1312.1 She married, secondly, Alexander Fraser of Touchfraser and Cowie, son of Sir Andrew Fraser of Touchfraser, younger and Beatrix le Chene of Duffus, circa 1316.1 She died before 22 September 1323.1
From circa 1312, her married name became Campbell. From circa 1316, her married name became Fraser. In 1332 and was killed at defeat of Scots by an invading host of English lords at Dupplin 12 August issue.2

Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow1

Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow was the son of Sir Colin Campbell of Lochow.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Crawford, daughter of Andrew Crawford, before 1303.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Cameron between 1303 and 1312.2 He married, thirdly, Lady Mary Bruce, daughter of Robert le Brus, 1st Lord Brus and Margaret, Countess of Carrick, circa 1312.1 He died circa 1316.1
He was also known as Nigel Campbell.2 He was appointed Knight circa 1285.2 In 1296 he joined Robert the Bruce in the struggle against the English.2 Robert the Bruce granted him, his (third) wife and their son John, all of the lands of David de Strathbogie, 11th Earl of Atholl.2 He lived at Lochow, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.2 On 26 April 1315 he was one of the great Barons of Parliament which met to fix the succession to the Crown.2

John Campbell, 1st and last Earl of Atholl was born circa 1313.1 He was the son of Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow and Lady Mary Bruce.2 He married Joan Menteith, daughter of Sir John Menteith of Rusky, between 1329 and 1333.2 He died on 19 July 1333 at Halidon Hill, ScotlandG, killed in action, without legitimate issue.1
He was created 1st Earl of Atholl [Scotland] circa 1320.1 He lived at Moulin, Perthshire, ScotlandG.3 He fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333 at Halidon Hill, ScotlandG.1

Joan Menteith1

Joan Menteith was the daughter of Sir John Menteith of Rusky.1 She married, firstly, Malise, 7th Earl of Strathearn, son of Malise, 6th Earl of Strathearn and Agnes Comyn, circa 1323.2 She married, secondly, John Campbell, 1st and last Earl of Atholl, son of Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow and Lady Mary Bruce, between 1329 and 1333.1 She married, thirdly, Morice Moray, 1st Earl of Strathearn, son of Sir John Moray, after 11 July 1339, by dispensation.2 She married, fourthly, William Sutherland, 5th Earl of Sutherland, son of Kenneth Sutherland, 4th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret of Mar, before 9 November 1347.2 She died after 1367.2
After her marriage, Joan Menteith was styled as Countess of Atholl between 1329 and 1333. From 11 July 1339, her married name became Moray. From before 9 November 1347, her married name became Sutherland.2

Sir John Menteith of Rusky1

Sir John Menteith of Rusky was the son of Walter Stewart, Earl of Menteith and Mary of Menteith, Countess of Menteith.2,3
He held the office of Sheriff of Dunbartonshire in 1304.2 He captured Sir William Wallace, and took him in chains to London.2 He joined Robert the Bruce and fought in the War of Scottish Inpendence.2 He lived at Rusky, ScotlandG.4 He was Guardian of the Earldom on Menteith in 1320.2
