Ernst Heinrich Ferdinand Melchiades Prinz von Sachsen was born on 9 December 1896 at Dresden, Sachsen, GermanyG.1 He was the son of Friedrich August III König von Sachsen and Luise Antoinette Maria Erzherzogin von Österreich.1,2 He married, firstly, Sophie Caroline Marie Wilhelmine von Nassau-Weilburg, Princesse de Luxembourg, daughter of Wilhelm IV von Nassau-Weilburg, Grand-Duc de Luxembourg and Maria Ana do Carmo de Bragança, Infanta de Portugal, on 12 April 1921.1 He married, secondly, Virginia Dulon, daughter of Karl Ferdinand Dulon and Virginie Ringeisen, on 28 June 1947 at Paris, FranceG.1 He died on 14 June 1971 at age 74.
He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen.1

She married, thirdly, Georg Timo Michael Nikolaus Maria Prinz von Sachsen, son of Ernst Heinrich Ferdinand Melchiades Prinz von Sachsen and Sophie Caroline Marie Wilhelmine von Nassau-Weilburg, Princesse de Luxembourg, on 26 March 1974 at Emden, GermanyG. She married, fourthly, Paul Spinat in June 1985. She died on 16 February 2010 at age 88.2
From 24 December 1946, her married name became Dinkla. From 2 July 1949, her married name became Hardisty. From 26 March 1974, her married name became von Sachsen. From June 1985, her married name became Spinat. From 1989, her married name became von Sachsen.

Georg Timo Michael Nikolaus Maria Prinz von Sachsen was born on 2 December 1923.2 He was the son of Ernst Heinrich Ferdinand Melchiades Prinz von Sachsen and Sophie Caroline Marie Wilhelmine von Nassau-Weilburg, Princesse de Luxembourg.1 He married, firstly, Margrit Lucas, daughter of Karl Lucas and Hildegard Stube, on 7 August 1952 at Mülheim, GermanyG.2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Schwindack, daughter of Peter Gottfried Schwindack and Elsa Katherina Brod, on 3 February 1966 in a civil marriage.2 He and Charlotte Schwindack were divorced on 6 February 1973.3 He married, thirdly, Erina Eilts, daughter of Heinrich Robert Eilts and Emilie Gallikowski, on 26 March 1974 at Emden, GermanyG. Georg Timo Michael Nikolaus Maria and Charlotte were also married in a religious ceremony on 5 February 1966.4 He died on 22 April 1982 at age 58.5
He was given the name of Georg Timo Michael Nikolaus Maria at birth.5 He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen.1
