Major Patrick Henry Anthony Burke1

Major Patrick Henry Anthony Burke was born on 16 June 1913.2 He was the son of John Bernard Mary Burke and Constance Maria Kirkham.3 He married, firstly, Rosemary Maud Evelyn Sandars, daughter of John Drysdale Sandars and Hon. Maud Evelyn Graves, on 26 June 1937.2 He and Rosemary Maud Evelyn Sandars were divorced in 1948.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Harrison, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Fenwick Harrison and Hon. Margaret Olive Edith Levy-Lawson, on 8 May 1950.2 He died on 16 March 1964 at age 50, as the result of a hunting accident.1
Major Patrick Henry Anthony Burke usually went by his middle name of Anthony.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944, where he was wounded.2 He lived at Stackallan, County Meath, IrelandG.4
