Joshua Vanneck, 2nd Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall was born on 12 August 1778 at Austin Friars, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Joshua Vanneck, 1st Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall and Maria Thompson.1 He married, firstly, Frances Catherine Arcedeckne, daughter of Chalenor Arcedeckne and Catherine Leigh, on 2 April 1810.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Anne Blois, daughter of Sir Charles Blois, 6th Bt. and Clara Price, on 6 January 1817.1 He died on 10 August 1844 at age 65 at Heveningham Hall, Yoxford, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in September 1844.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Dunwich between 1816 and 1819.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Huntingfield of Heveningham Hall [I., 1796] on 15 August 1816.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Vanneck, of Putney, co. Surrey [G.B., 1751] on 15 August 1816.1

He was educated between 1753 and 1759 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 7 December 1760.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wallingford.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1797.2 He held the office of Attorney-General [Jamaica].2 He lived at Glevering Hall, Suffolk, EnglandG.1
