Lt. Henry Bligh Fortescue Parnell, 5th Baron Congleton was born on 6 September 1890.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton and Elizabeth Peter Dove.2 He died on 10 November 1914 at age 24, killed in action.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Congleton, of Congleton, co. Chester [U.K., 1841] on 12 November 1906.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Parnell, of Rathleague, Queen's Co. [I., 1766] on 12 November 1906.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

Lt. Hon. William Alastair Damer Parnell was born on 30 August 1894.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton and Elizabeth Peter Dove.2 He died on 25 September 1916 at age 22 at Somme, FranceG, killed in action.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards (Special Reserve.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard1

Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard was born on 7 April 1895.2 She was the daughter of Robert Jared Bliss Howard and Margaret Charlotte Smith, Baroness Strathcona and Mount Royal.1,2 She married, firstly, John Brooke Molesworth Parnell, 6th Baron Congleton, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton and Elizabeth Peter Dove, on 6 April 1918.1 She married, secondly, F/Lt. Alfred Eric Rowland Aldridge on 5 July 1946.1 She died in 1979.1
After her marriage, Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard was styled as Baroness Congleton on 6 April 1918. From 6 April 1918, her married name became Parnell. She held the office of Member of the Hampshire County Council.1 She held the office of Chairman of the New Forest Rurual District Council.1 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1941.1 She was awarded the Order of Mercy with bar.1 From 5 July 1946, her married name became Aldridge. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) between 1948 and 1956.1 In 1951 her name was legally changed to Edith Mary Palmer Congleton by Deed Poll.1

William Westenra, 5th/6th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan was born on 12 July 1892.1 He was the son of Derrick Warner William Westenra, 4th/5th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan and Mittie Naylor.1 He married Dolores Cecil Wilson, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Alban Wilson, on 8 November 1927.1 He died on 17 October 1958 at age 66.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was Aide-de-Camp Personal Staff in 1917.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan [I., 1796] on 31 January 1921.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [U.K., 1838] on 31 January 1921.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.2 He fought in the Second World War.2
