From 8 June 1887, her married name became Bowater.1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1

Sir Rainald Vansittart Bowater, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 January 1888.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Vansittart Bowater, 1st Bt. and Emily Margaret Spencer.1 He married Ethel Maud Keeler-Grix, daughter of John Keeler-Grix, on 18 June 1914.1 He died on 2 March 1945 at age 57.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bowater, of Hill Crest, Croydon [U.K., 1914] on 28 March 1938.1
