Bessie Henriette Douglas was the daughter of Captain William Grant Douglas and Elizabeth Inglis.2 She married, firstly, Claud William Leslie Ogilby on 17 February 1875.1 She married, secondly, Hugo Bartels in 1895.1 She died on 12 October 1938.1
From 17 February 1875, her married name became Ogilby.1 From 1895, her married name became Bartels.1

Samuel Gurney Buxton was born on 1 November 1838.1 He was the son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Caroline Hoare, daughter of John Gurney Hoare and Caroline Barclay, on 3 September 1861.1 He married, secondly, Mary Anne Birkbeck, daughter of Henry Birkbeck, on 7 June 1886.1 He died on 12 February 1909 at age 70.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk in 1891.1 He lived at Catton Hall, Norfolk, England G.1
