Henry Edmund Buxton was born on 22 January 1844.1 He was the son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney.2 He married Mary Rosalind Upcher, daughter of Reverend Abbot Upcher, on 16 October 1867.1 He died on 2 November 1905 at age 61.1

Mary Rosalind Upcher was the daughter of Reverend Abbot Upcher.2 She married Henry Edmund Buxton, son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney, on 16 October 1867.1 She died on 4 July 1918.1
