Sir John Chardin, 1st and last Bt.1

Sir John Chardin, 1st and last Bt. was baptised on 6 October 1687 at Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Chardin and Esther de Lardiniere Peigné.1 He died on 26 April 1755 at age 67, unmarried.1 He was buried on 10 May 1755 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 18 July 1747 to 1753) was proven (by probate) on 28 April 1755.1
He was admitted to Inner Temple.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chardin, of the Inner Temple, London [Great Britain] on 28 May 1720.1 Before 1741 he purchased the estate of Kempton Park in Sunbury, Middlesex.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Sir Edward Charlton, 1st and last Bt. was the son of William Charlton.1 He married Mary Widdrington, daughter of Sir Edward Widdrington, 1st Bt. and Christiana Stuart.1 He died circa 1670, without male issue.1
He was created 1st Baronet Charlton, of Hesleyside, co. Northumberland [England] on 6 March 1645/46.1 He had two other daughters.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
