Marion Macleod was the daughter of Ian 'Mor' Macleod, 16th of MacLeod and Sybella Mackenzie.1,2 She married, thirdly, Ranald Macdonald, 2nd of Milton, son of Angus 'Og' Macdonald, 1st of Milton and Mary Maclean.3 She married, firstly, Norman Macleod, son of Sir Norman MacLeod, 1st of Berneray, before 1655.3 She married, secondly, Donald Macdonald, 14th of Clanranald and Moidart, son of John Macdonald, 13th of Clanranald and Moidart and Moire Macleod, in 1655.3 She died in 1710.3
From 1655, her married name became Macdonald.

Allan Macdonald, 15th of Clanranald and Moidart1

Allan Macdonald, 15th of Clanranald and Moidart was born circa 1675.2 He was the son of Donald Macdonald, 14th of Clanranald and Moidart and Marion Macleod.2 He married Penelope Louisa Mackenzie, daughter of Colonel Alexander Mackenzie and Louisa Bouvinot, on 9 October 1694.2 He died on 14 November 1715 at Drummond Castle, Muthill, Perthshire, ScotlandG, from wounds received in action.2 He was buried at Inverpeffray, ScotlandG.2
He held the position of Chief of Clanranald from.2 He fought in the Battle of Killiecrankie in 1689, with his cousin and tutor Donald Macdonald, 3rd of Benbecula (later 15th of Clanranald) under Dundee.1 He obtained a commission from James FitzJames, 1st Duke of Berwick under whom he served in Spain.1 He fought in the Battle of Almanza in 1707, where he was wounded.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1715.1 On 9 November 1715 Castle Tirrim was burned down on his instructions.1 He fought in the Battle of Sheriffmuir on 13 November 1715, where he commanded the right wing of the Jacobite army.2

Penelope Louisa Mackenzie1

Penelope Louisa Mackenzie was the daughter of Colonel Alexander Mackenzie and Louisa Bouvinot.1 She married Allan Macdonald, 15th of Clanranald and Moidart, son of Donald Macdonald, 14th of Clanranald and Moidart and Marion Macleod, on 9 October 1694.1 She died in 1743, without issue.1
From 9 October 1694, her married name became MacDonald.1 She was created 1st Lady Clanranald [Scotland] on 28 September 1716, Jacobite, by the titular King James II, in consideration of her husband's services to the Stuarts.1

Ulick Bourke, 1st Earl of Clanricarde was the son of Richard Bourke MacWilliam and unknown daughter O'Madden.1 He married, firstly, Grace O'Carroll, daughter of Maolrona O'Carroll.1 He married, secondly, Honora Bourke, daughter of Richard 'Oge' MacWilliam.2 He married, thirdly, Maria Lynch.2 He and Grace O'Carroll were separated.2 He and Honora Bourke were separated.2 He died on 19 October 1544.2
Ulick Bourke, 1st Earl of Clanricarde also went by the nick-name of Ulick 'Negan' (or in English, 'the Beheader.1') He lived at Clanricarde, County Galway, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Governor of Connaught.1 He was also known as Ulick de Burgh.1 He was also known as Ulick Bourke MacWilliam as of 1541.1 He was created 1st Earl of Clanricarde [Ireland] on 1 July 1543.1 He was created 1st Baron of Dunkellin [Ireland] on 1 July 1543.1
