Sir Simon Peter Clarke, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir Simon Clarke, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Castell.1 He died in 1736, without male issue.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Clarke, of Salford, co. Warwick [E., 1617] in 1718.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.1 In 1730 he was transported to Jamaica, after being convicted of highway robbery.1

Sir Simon Clarke, 6th Bt. was the son of Philip Clarke and Arabella Lucy (?)1 He married Mary Bonny, daughter of Philip Bonny.1 He died on 7 February 1770 at Kingston, JamaicaG.1 He was buried on 8 February 1770 at St. Catherine's Church, Kingston, JamaicaG.1
He was Clerk of the Crown in 1722.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He held the office of Member of the Council [Jamaica].1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Clarke, of Salford, co. Warwick [E., 1617] in 1736.1

Catherine Emilia Clayton was the daughter of Sir William Clayton, 4th Bt. and Mary East.2 She married John Shawe Manley on 16 July 1821.1 She died on 7 February 1864, leaving issue.1
From 16 July 1821, her married name became Manley.
