Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Sutton Sotheron-Estcourt was born on 4 April 1801.2 He was the son of Thomas Grimston Bucknall Bucknall-Estcourt and Eleanor Sutton.1 He married Lucy Sarah Sotheron, daughter of Admiral Frank Sotheron, on 21 August 1830.2 He died in January 1876 at age 74.2,3
He was given the name of Thomas Henry Sutton Bucknall-Estcourt at birth.2 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1826 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlborough between 1827 and 1832.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devizes between 1835 and 1844.2 On 17 July 1839 his name was legally changed to Thomas Henry Sutton Sotheron.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Wiltshire between 1844 and 1865.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1852.2 In 1853 his name was legally changed to Thomas Henry Sutton Sotheron-Estcourt.2 He held the office of President of the Poor Law Board.2 He held the office of Secretary of State for the Home Department in 1859.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He lived at Estcourt, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He lived at Darrington Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2

Commander Walter Grimston Bucknall-Estcourt1

Commander Walter Grimston Bucknall-Estcourt was born on 16 May 1807.1 He was the son of Thomas Grimston Bucknall Bucknall-Estcourt and Eleanor Sutton.1 He died on 16 September 1845 at age 38, off the coast of Africa.1
He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
