John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven1

John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven was born on 5 May 1800.1 He was the son of Sir John Trollope, 6th Bt. and Anne Thorold.1,2 He married Julia Maria Sheffield, daughter of Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt., on 26 October 1847.1 He died on 17 December 1874 at age 74.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [E., 1642] on 28 April 1820.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1825.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Lincolnshire between 1841 and 1868.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1852.1 He held the office of President of the Poor Law Board in 1852.1 He was created 1st Baron Kesteven, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [U.K.] on 15 April 1868.1

Sir John Trollope, 6th Bt.1

Sir John Trollope, 6th Bt. was born in 1766.2 He was the son of Thomas Middleton Trollope and Isabella Thorold.3 He married Anne Thorold, daughter of Henry Thorold, on 24 March 1798.2 He died on 28 April 1820.1
He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [E., 1642] on 13 May 1789.2

Julia Maria Sheffield1

Julia Maria Sheffield was the daughter of Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt.1 She married John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven, son of Sir John Trollope, 6th Bt. and Anne Thorold, on 26 October 1847.1 She died on 2 November 1876.2
From 26 October 1847, her married name became Trollope.1 After her marriage, Julia Maria Sheffield was styled as Baroness Kesteven on 15 April 1868.

Major Hon. Robert Cranmer Trollope was born on 7 November 1852.1 He was the son of John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven and Julia Maria Sheffield.1 He married Ethel Mary Carew, daughter of Colonel George Henry Warrington Carew, on 22 October 1885.1 He died on 25 November 1908 at age 56.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.2

Ethel Mary Carew was the daughter of Colonel George Henry Warrington Carew.1 She married Major Hon. Robert Cranmer Trollope, son of John Trollope, 1st Baron Kesteven and Julia Maria Sheffield, on 22 October 1885.1 She died on 25 March 1934.2
From 22 October 1885, her married name became Trollope.1

Thomas Carew Trollope, 3rd Baron Kesteven1

Thomas Carew Trollope, 3rd Baron Kesteven was born on 1 May 1891.2 He was the son of Major Hon. Robert Cranmer Trollope and Ethel Mary Carew.1 He died on 5 November 1915 at age 24, from wounds received in action on a transport off the Algerian coast, unmarried.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the Lincolnshire Yeomanry.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Kesteven, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1868] on 23 July 1915.2 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [E., 1642] on 23 July 1915.3 On his death, his barony became extinct.2

Hon. Dorothy Nesta Trollope1

Hon. Dorothy Nesta Trollope was the daughter of Major Hon. Robert Cranmer Trollope and Ethel Mary Carew.1 She married Lt.-Col. Froude Dillon Trollope, son of Harry Bawden Bellew and Ada Jane Llewellin, on 17 October 1918 at Williton, Somerset, England.1,2 She died on 6 March 1975.3
On 30 October 1916 she was granted the rank of a baron's daughter.1 From 17 October 1918, her married name became Bellew.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1939.3 She lived at Casewick, Stamford, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

Lt.-Col. Froude Dillon Trollope was born in 1888 at Wiveliscombe, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of Harry Bawden Bellew and Ada Jane Llewellin.2 He married Hon. Dorothy Nesta Trollope, daughter of Major Hon. Robert Cranmer Trollope and Ethel Mary Carew, on 17 October 1918 at Williton, Somerset, England.1,2
He was given the name of Froude Dillon Bellew at birth.3 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Somerset Light Infantry.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)3 In 1920 his name was legally changed to Froude Dillon Trollope by Royal Licence.1 He lived at Okehampton Manor, Somerset, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)3
