Anne Montgomery was born circa 1752.4 She was the daughter of Sir William Montgomery of Magbiehill, 1st Bt. and Hannah Tomkyns.1,5 She married Field Marshal George Townshend, 1st Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of Charles Townshend, 3rd Viscount Townshend of Raynham and Audrey Ethelreda Harrison, on 19 May 1773.5 She died on 29 March 1819.5
From 19 May 1773, her married name became Townshend.1 After her marriage, Anne Montgomery was styled as Viscountess Townshend of Raynham on 19 May 1773. After her marriage, Anne Montgomery was styled as Marchioness Townshend of Raynham on 31 October 1787.

Lord David Stuart was born on 8 February 1911.1 He was the son of John Crichton-Stuart, 4th Marquess of the County of Bute and Augusta Mary Monica Bellingham.1 He married Ursula Sybil Packe, daughter of Sir Edward Hussey Packe and Hon. Mary Sydney Colebrooke, on 24 May 1940.1 He died in 1970.1
He was also known as David Crichton-Stuart.1 He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 In 1934 his name was legally changed to David Stuart by Lord Lyon.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 51st AT Regiment, Royal Artillery.1

Ursula Sybil Packe was born on 4 February 1913. She was the daughter of Sir Edward Hussey Packe and Hon. Mary Sydney Colebrooke.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Clifton, son of Lt.-Col. Percy Robert Clifton and Evelyn Mary Amelia Leith, on 2 June 1934.1 She married, secondly, Lord David Stuart, son of John Crichton-Stuart, 4th Marquess of the County of Bute and Augusta Mary Monica Bellingham, on 24 May 1940.2 She died in 1989.2
From 2 June 1934, her married name became Clifton. Her marriage to Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Clifton was annulled in 1936.1 Her married name became Stuart.
