Mary Jane Hargreaves was born on 1 March 1852 at Rothwell, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 She married James Ramsden, son of Squire Ramsden and Mary Anne Hirst, in June 1876.3,2 She died on 22 August 1885 at age 33.1
From June 1876, her married name became Ramsden.2

Margaret Enid Withey was born on 31 December 1881 at Baldwin Lake, Michigan, U.S.A.G.2 She was the daughter of Frank Eugene Withey and Nellie H. (?)1,2 She married, firstly, Major George Wells Farwell, son of George DeForest Farwell and Grace Hattie Wells, in 1918.1 She married, secondly, Eugene Joseph Squire Hargreaves Ramsden, 1st and last Baron Ramsden, son of James Ramsden and Mary Jane Hargreaves, on 22 May 1919.1
She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)3 From 1918, her married name became Farwell.1 From 22 May 1919, her married name became Ramsden.1 After her marriage, Margaret Enid Withey was styled as Baroness Ramsden on 17 June 1945.

(?), in 1918.1 He died on 30 September 1918 at age 35 at FranceG.1,2
He gained the rank of Major in the U.S. Army.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) posthumously.2
