John Power Bertram Ogilvy Freeman-Mitford, 4th Baron Redesdale was born on 31 January 1885.1 He was the son of Algernon Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale and Lady Clementina Gertrude Helen Ogilvy.2 He married Marie Anne von Freidlander-Fuld, daughter of Friedrich Victor von Freidlander-Fuld, on 5 January 1914.1 He died on 31 December 1963 at age 78.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Life Guards (SR.)1 His marriage to Marie Anne von Freidlander-Fuld was annulled in 1914.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Redesdale, of Redesdale, Northumberland [U.K., 1902] on 24 December 1962.1
