Alexander Edward Murray, 8th Earl of Dunmore, V.C. was born on 22 April 1871.1 He was the son of Charles Adolphus Murray, 7th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Gertrude Coke.1 He married Dorothea Kemble, daughter of Colonel Horace William Kemble, on 5 January 1904.1 He died on 29 January 1962 at age 90.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India between 1895 and 1897.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1896.1 He fought in the Malakand Expeditioon in 1897, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) in 1897.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to Maj.-Gen. Sir H. C. Edward David Murray, Viscount Fincastle was born on 3 April 1908.1 He was the son of Alexander Edward Murray, 8th Earl of Dunmore, V.C. and Dorothea Kemble.1,2 He married Hon. Pamela Kate Hermon-Hodge, daughter of Roland Herman Hermon-Hodge, 2nd Baron Wyfold and Dorothy Fleming, on 26 April 1938.3 He died on 5 June 1940 at age 32 at FranceG, killed in action.3,4
He was styled as Viscount Fincastle.1 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Hon. Pamela Kate Hermon-Hodge was born on 27 November 1908.2 She was the daughter of Roland Herman Hermon-Hodge, 2nd Baron Wyfold and Dorothy Fleming.2 She married, firstly, Edward David Murray, Viscount Fincastle, son of Alexander Edward Murray, 8th Earl of Dunmore, V.C. and Dorothea Kemble, on 26 April 1938.1 She married, secondly, Captain Follett Watson Bell, son of Frederick Norman Bell, on 27 June 1944.1 She died in 1978.1
From 26 April 1938, her married name became Murray. From 27 June 1944, her married name became Bell.

Roland Herman Hermon-Hodge, 2nd Baron Wyfold1

Roland Herman Hermon-Hodge, 2nd Baron Wyfold was born on 10 July 1880.2 He was the son of Robert Trotter Hermon-Hodge, 1st Baron Wyfold and Frances Caroline Hermon.2 He married Dorothy Fleming, daughter of Robert Fleming and Sarah Kate Hindmarsh, on 26 June 1906.2 He died on 14 October 1942 at age 62.
He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Reserve of Officers.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Oxfordshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Wyfold, of Accrington, co. Captain Follett Watson Bell1

Captain Follett Watson Bell was the son of Frederick Norman Bell.2 He married Hon. Pamela Kate Hermon-Hodge, daughter of Roland Herman Hermon-Hodge, 2nd Baron Wyfold and Dorothy Fleming, on 27 June 1944.2 He died on 2 October 1982.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.2
