Jean, Viscountess Dundee

Jean Cochrane was the daughter of William Cochrane, Lord Cochrane and Lady Catherine Kennedy. She married, firstly, John Graham, 1st Viscount Dundee, son of William Graham, 6th of Claverhouse and Lady Magdalene Carnegie, in May 1684.2 She married, secondly, William Livingstone, 3rd Viscount Kilsyth, son of James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth and Euphemia Cuningham, circa 1692/93. She died on 16 September 1695, killed by the fall of a house.
From May 1684, her married name became Graham.2 Her married name became Livingstone.

Robert Pierrepont, 1st Earl of Kingston-upon-Hull 1

Robert Pierrepont, 1st Earl of Kingston-upon-Hull was born on 6 August 1584.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Pierrepont and Frances Cavendish.2 He married Gertrude Talbot, daughter of Hon. Henry Talbot and Elizabeth Reyner, on 8 January 1601. He died on 25 July 1643 at age 58.3
He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Nottinghamshire in 1601. He held the office of Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1615/16. He was created 1st Viscount Newark [England] in 1627. He gained the title of 1st Earl of Kingston-upon-Hull [England] in 1628. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1643 in the King's army.
