Catherine Meriel Stepney1

Catherine Meriel Stepney was the daughter of Sir Arthur Cowell Stepney, 2nd Bt.1 She married Sir Edward Stafford Howard, son of Henry Howard and Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long, on 21 September 1911.1 She died on 8 June 1952.1
She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Carmarthenshire.1 She held the office of Member of the Carmarthenshire County Council.1 Her married name became Howard. On 9 March 1922 her name was legally changed to Catherine Meriel Howard-Stepney by Royal Licence.1
