Zachary Macaulay was born on 2 May 1768 at Inverary Glenaray, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.3 He was the son of Reverend John Macaulay and Margaret Campbell.3 He married Selina Anne Mills, daughter of Thomas Mills and Mary Haines, on 26 August 1799 at Bristol, EnglandG.3 He died on 13 May 1838 at age 70 at Clarges Street, London, EnglandG.3,4 He was buried at Mecklenburgh Square, London, EnglandG.3
