Nathaniel Lindley, Baron Lindley1

Nathaniel Lindley, Baron Lindley was born on 29 November 1828.1 He was the son of John Lindley and Sarah Freestone.1 He married Sarah Katherine Teale, daughter of Edward John Teale, on 5 August 1858.1 He died on 13 December 1921 at age 93.1
He was educated at University College London, London, EnglandG.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1850 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the office of Justice of the Common Pleas in 1875.1 He was a practising Serjeant-at-Law in 1875.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1875.1 He held the office of Judge of the High Court, Common Pleas Division between 1875 and 1880.1 He held the office of Judge of the High Court, Queen's Bench Division between 1880 and 1881.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1881.1 He held the office of Lord Justice of Appeal between 1881 and 1897.1 He held the office of Treasurer of the Middle Temple in 1892.1 He held the office of Master of the Rolls between 1897 and 1900.1 He was created Baron Lindley, of East Carleton in the County of Norfolk [U.K. Law Lord] on 10 May 1900.1 He held the office of Lord of Appeal in Ordinary between 10 May 1900 and 1905.1

Colonel Hon. David Bruce was born on 11 June 1888.1 He was the son of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Lady Constance Mary Carnegie.2 He married Jennet Rawstorne, daughter of Rt. Rev. Atherton Gwillym Rawstorne and Anne Frances Horton, on 23 May 1919.1 He died on 26 August 1964 at age 76.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgium.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sutherland.1

Maude Rudolff Sneddon

Maude Rudolff Sneddon is the daughter of Wilhelm Rudolff and Helena von Radetsky.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Victor Alexander Bruce, son of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Lady Constance Mary Carnegie, on 27 April 1929.2 She married, secondly, John Navarino Fellowes Edwards, son of John Burnell Edwards and Muriel Bulwer Fellowes, in 1934.2
From 27 April 1929, her married name became Bruce. From 1934, her married name became Edwards.
