Reverend Carolus Pole1

Reverend Carolus Pole was baptised on 25 May 1686.2 He was the son of Sir John Pole, 3rd Bt. and Anne Morice. He married Sarah Rashleigh, daughter of Jonathan Rashleigh and Jane Carew, on 23 August 1714.2 He died in 1731.2
He was the Rector at St. Breock, Cornwall, EnglandG.2

Sarah Rashleigh was the daughter of Jonathan Rashleigh and Jane Carew.1 She married Reverend Carolus Pole, son of Sir John Pole, 3rd Bt. and Anne Morice, on 23 August 1714.2
From 23 August 1714, her married name became Pole.2

Sir John Carew, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1633.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Carew, 2nd Bt. and Jane Rolle.3 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Norton, daughter of Richard Norton.3 He married, firstly, Sarah Hungerford, daughter of Anthony Hungerford, before 8 August 1664.3 He married, thirdly, Mary Morice, daughter of Sir William Morice, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Bamfylde, before 1682.2 He died circa August 1692.2 He was buried on 6 August 1692 at Antony, Cornwall, EnglandG.3 His will (dated 29 October 1691) was proven (by probate) on 7 December 1692.3
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Carew, of Antony, co. Cornwall [E., 1641] on 23 December 1644.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall in 1660.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bodmin between 1661 and 1679.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lostwithiel between 1679 and 1681.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall from 1689 to 1690.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Saltash between 1690 and 1692.3

Sir John Pole, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 June 1649.3 He was the son of Sir Courtenay Pole, 2nd Bt. and Ureth Shapcote. He married Anne Morice, daughter of Sir William Morice.3 He died on 13 March 1707/8 at age 58.3
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lyme Regis between 1685 and 1687.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lyme Regis in 1689/90.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Pole, of Shute House, Devonshire [E., 1628] circa 10 April 1695.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bossiney between 1698 and 1700.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Loo between 1702 and 1705.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devon in 1701/2.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport Cornwall between 1705 and 1708.3
