Admiral John Locke Marx was born in 1852 at Alresford, Hampshire, England G.2 He married Cecila Georgina Heath, daughter of Commander George Poynter Heath and Elizabeth Jane Long Innes, on 13 April 1886 at St. Mary's, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia G.2 He died in 1939.2
He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He lived at Andover, Hampshire, England G.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

Captain George Francis Locke Marx was born in 1890.2 He was the son of Admiral John Locke Marx and Cecila Georgina Heath.3,2 He married Augusta Susan Fergusson, daughter of Admiral Sir James Andrew Fergusson and Enid Githa Williams, on 2 June 1932.1 He died on 2 October 1965.
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1

Commander Andrew John Locke Marx was born on 20 March 1933.1 He was the son of Captain George Francis Locke Marx and Augusta Susan Fergusson.2 He married, firstly, Rosemary Evangeline Collins, daughter of Christopher William Edward Collins and Jenny Rosdew Drake, in 1963.1 He and Rosemary Evangeline Collins were divorced in 1982.1 He married, secondly, Amanda Reid, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Charles Reid, in 1989.1 He died on 6 January 2014 at age 80.3
He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He lived in 2003 at Heron's Way, East Chisenbury, Wiltshire, England G.1
