Lt.-Col. Archibald Tennant1

Lt.-Col. Archibald Tennant was born on 11 October 1904 at Hutton Castle, Berwickshire, Scotland.2,3 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Harold John Tennant and Margaret Edith Abraham.2 He married Diana Primrose Quilter, daughter of Percy Cuthbert Quilter and Gladys Clare Alice Tudway, on 16 September 1947.2 He died on 30 May 1955 at age 50.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1933 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He lived at Edinglassie, Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.2 He lived at 12 Victoria Square, London, EnglandG.2
