Sir Henry John Hall of Dunglass, 8th Bt. was born on 26 September 1835.1 He was the son of Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 5th Bt. and Julia Walker.2 He died on 25 March 1913 at age 77, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 13 January 1909.1

Sir John Richard Hall of Dunglass, 9th Bt. was born on 14 November 1865.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall and Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle.2 He married Sophia Mary Oliver, daughter of Henry Duncan, on 1 January 1903.1 He died on 15 February 1928 at age 62, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Irish Guards.1 He wrote the book The Coldstream Guards in the Boer War.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 25 March 1913.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1

Julian Hamilton Hall and Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle.2 He married Alice Mary Hasler, daughter of William Wyndham Hasler and Selina Sarah Hervey, on 9 December 1905.1 He died on 31 January 1958 at age 83.1
He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Bechuanaland Civil Service.1 He was Chief Reconstruction Officer Scotland, Ministry of Labour.1 He was Director of Food Section, Ministry of Munitions during the First World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 15 February 1928.1
