Hon. Alastair Joseph Watson1

Hon. Alastair Joseph Watson was born on 20 August 1901.1 He was the son of Joseph Watson, 1st Baron Manton and Frances Claire Nickols.2 He married Joan Cobbold, daughter of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill, on 13 July 1925.1 He died on 13 December 1955 at age 54.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Suffolk Regiment.1 He was Quartering Commandant of Hertfordshire between 1940 and 1946.1
