John Campbell, younger of Shawfield1

John Campbell, younger of Shawfield was the son of Daniel Campbell, 1st of Shawfield and Margaret Leckie.1 He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Campbell, daughter of Hugh Campbell, 3rd Earl of Loudoun and Lady Margaret Dalrymple, on 4 August 1728.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Cuninghame, daughter of William Cuninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Henrietta Stewart, on 27 April 1735.1 He died on 28 July 1746.1
He was ancestor of the Campbells of Islay and Shawfield and the Campbells of Skipness.2 He lived at Shawfield, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.2
