He was educated at Wellington School, Wellington, Somerset, England.1 He fought in the Second World War in 1941, with the Royal Armoured Corps.1 He was a mechanical engineer between 1948 and 1951 at Tanzania.1 He was with English Clays Ltd between 1951 and 1952 at Cornwall, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Rashleigh, of Prideaux, co.
